We had bought things from Greens occasionally for a number of years but with the arrival of lockdown decided to order a regular medium-sized veg box delivery. We have been astonished at the difference in quality between Green’s fruit and veg and what we’ve been used to from Sainsbury’s, M&S and Ocado/Waitrose. Strawberries that have real taste, not the watery force-grown varieties we’ve been putting up with. Wonderful asparagus. Corn on the cob so tasty you can eat it straight from the grill with nothing added. We get a big selection of basics like potatoes and onions and lots of high value fruit and veg like avocados. Not only that, but Greens is a company that gives back to the community as I know they regularly donate fruit and vegetables to the needy via local charities. The quality and grade of the produce consistently outshines supermarket, I didn’t think there would be much difference but after actually shopping at Greens I was so surprised by how much better and fresher it was, the flavours were far more pronounced and it all felt so much cleaner. Whether you’re after organic, local, or seasonal options, the shop delivers on all fronts.
