Highgate Wood — Attraction in London

How lovely to be surrounded by ‘Mother Nature’s Woodlands’. I love coming to Highgate Wood with my children, especially for the children’s park which is situated near the main toilet huts. However, the walk through the park is so serene and peaceful, it makes you feel you could be a million miles away:-) Plus there’s also a cute café which is located in the heart of Highgate Woods open field area. Bring your children for a walk or even take them to the lovely playground and let them release some energy. Lovely eerie woods! Tranquility in the middle of the city. The trees give you a cool and shady place for relaxing when the weather is very hot! The pavilion cafe has a good choice of lunch dishes and provides peaceful surroundings for you to enjoy your meal.

Shame about the dog owners who don’t pick up poop - where children play. I have seen this happen at least 20 times in one year. And often return home with poop on shoe! 😱 Can a levy be introduced for people with dogs? 🐶 this is such a fabulous amity for dog people,...
