I came across Fornaro randomly while checking the map on North Parkland Walk a couple of weeks ago, some of the previous reviews did make me feel sceptical because they were short and all positive, but I thought I’d give it a try tonight anyway since it’s a nice walk from home. The pizzas 🍕 were pretty good - thin base with crispy crust, fairly generous toppings and nice ingredients. I had their “Burrata” which has some of the same toppings as my partner’s “Sorrento” from the special menu, but they were also distinctive enough. Definitely wayyy better than what you can get from, say, Pizza Pilgrim or Franco Manca, plus this is local. We didn’t get the tiramisu that many previous reviews spoke positively about, because the pizzas were of rather decent size, so we were a bit too full to have desserts. 😅 It was a Tuesday evening so there were very few dine-in customers, which was kinda nice to have some peace and quiet time.

Despite living not far away from this place, I never tried pizza from them before the first half of 2023. After that, I have been a regular and nearly always have their pizza when eating out. Their product is great not only in terms of looks, but also flavour and consistency. Ingredients are fresh and good quality ones and pizza base is very thin and crunchy. So, despite being a big pizza, you will be relatively light after gulping it down..I have been here few times already and tried 3, 4 pizza types, they are all great. The menu is very extensive and you also have vegetarian and gluten-free options. Service is also good, only once I had an issue with my order delayed for some time, however they offered a free tiramisu to make up for it. Would recommend if you are looking for an alternative from usual Neapolitan pizza base.

Walked past this pizzeria countless times during previous London stays, so thought it was about time to actually walk in and try it! Was gently persuaded to go for the speck & gorgonzola pizza, as I was stuck between choosing from the many great and various selections they had on offer. It was a good choice, a little different but hit the spot, just enough gorgonzola so it wasn't too strong and nicely balanced with the salty/smoked speck. Then when I seen panna cotta on the dessert menu - that was a must, as I cannot remember the last time I had this anywhere! It was so good, smooth and creamy finished with strawberries and sauce. The interior was nice a bright and the staff were all pleasant and very helpful. Would absolutely recommend, a really, really good wee place!

Decent Roman style pizza in a cramped but pleasant environment.

Pizzas are thin as is the style, but felt a little crackery rather than crispy, not enough air in the dough, and perhaps a slightly too low cooking temperature. Toppings were OK, but for a pizza that was supposed to have wild mushrooms on, I was disappointed to find a bland, generic mushroom paste rather than identifiable pieces. Probably a 7/10 pizza.

Service was pretty friendly, but they forgot to serve the salad we ordered and still included it on the bill. This was a minor issue easily sorted.

The place is very small with tables extremely close together. This made it difficult to have a conversation, but is an understandable issue, given the space constraints.

Overall an adequate experience,...
