Tops Pizza - Docklands — Restaurant in London

I recently had an appalling experience with this place and I feel compelled to share my ordeal. I placed an order with them, eagerly anticipating a meal during the Euros. Unfortunately, my excitement quickly turned to frustration and disappointment.

To start, the food arrived two hours late. During this time, I called the restaurant 89 times before someone finally picked up. Bear in mind I used other phones to call so it was over 100. The delivery arrived just as the game was ending, completely missing the point of ordering food for the match.

When the food did arrive, it was an absolute disaster. Not only was it cold, but parts of it appeared to have been half-eaten. To top it off, my order was completely wrong, missing several items I had paid for.

I called the restaurant again to address the issue, only to be met with rudeness and indifference. The person I spoke to refused to refund me for the missing items and had the audacity to suggest that if I wanted the food, I could come and get it myself. The sheer lack of professionalism and customer care was astounding.

In conclusion, this is a place to avoid at all costs. Their service is abysmal, their food is terrible, and their staff is downright rude. Save yourself the hassle and order from somewhere else.

Ps they give you free drinks if you give them 5 star review - do not get deceived. Also very funny how they received just 5 star reviews...

Omg, never been. I been to a takeaway where staff argue with customers.

Before I get into that. The pizza I got 2nd time 1st was an online order, and the second was this in store was poor and tasteless. prior to that, it was not so bad.

Use to order every month as the area was low on halal pizza. Now that's changed completely unsatisfying, the taste and quality are very poor. Placed order at 5:30pm to collect 7:00 pm told it would be ready by then. Got there, and I'll end up waiting 25 minutes. There's excuse was it ramadan. I understand that, but then don't tell people to come and wait inside a tiny little shop pure principals. Then he has a full-blown argument with a friend. If mine you've nevere owned a restaurant you dont know how it is that. really, it's a pizza takeaway shop, not a restaurant, so go educate yourself on that. Then he goes to me, "Did I order from this place before? I'm like yes every month."

The absolute disrespect of customer service is disgraceful. I like to give shop with lower stars a chance but to see this 1st hand in front of other customers is the reason why it has 3 stars. In my opinion, it's far too generous 1 to 1 and a half max.

I'm I going stop ordering from here. Absolutely that £500-£600 a year going to another takeaway.

WOMEN BEWARE!

We ordered from here last week as we were staying in the area and it was close. I ordered online and went to collect with my wife and was not happy with the service.

Firstly, the person on the till kept looking at my wife who was outside and kept making excuses to leave the shop to go outside. We had to wait for the pizza and my wife decided to stay outside out of view as she was feeling increasingly uncomfortable around the group of guys that were working there. I was still inside the shop and then noticed the short man on the till leaving the shop with his phone camera opened and pointing towards where my wife was. He was pretending to be on the phone but I could see his camera was on and trying to take a photo. I pushed past him and told my wife to walk around the corner out of view.

The whole vibe of the staff was extremely pervy. I would not recommend any women to pick up from here as you're at risk of getting strange looks or having your photo taken without you knowing.
