This is an unimaginatively designed mini golf course in Sidcup.
It's certainly not the most polished golf course either, far from it. It's a bit scrappy and daggy with scruffy artificial grass and low quality borders. The water features are full of froth which is probably from decaying plant material in the water, not a great look. The course itself is uncreative, it just doesn't have the complexity and refinement of some other crazy golf attractions; no real ‘wow’ factor.
Many of the holes are simple and straightforward, they scarcely differentiate from each other, with only a few obstacles — and rarely any special or extravagant features to challenge and amuse the putter.
Bringing very small kids might be okay, but even then, everyone can get more out of cleverly designed and engaging crazy golf. It's fine to have a small nursery course for toddlers, but never abandon a creative and exciting mini golf course — because that's the whole point of crazy golf; that it ought to be fun, memorable and wacky.
This didn't convey ‘crazy’ golf much at all, it was instead frankly rather underwhelming and plain. It felt like it was cobbled together on a limited shoestring budget, as if it were an afterthought.
To add insult to injury the holes weren't even numbered and it wasn't clear which course was which in terms...
Read moreWe had our son's 8th birthday party at Mr Mulligan's Dino Golf - Sidcup. The birthday was at the beginning of February, a bit of crazy decision to have it outside! I was worried about the weather for a whole January. However, the manager Niki reassured me that they will do the best to make my son's birthday party great. In case of strong rain they allow children to have a go in a covered driving range. The party area is also covered and heated! BUT we were lucky, the weather on the day was dry and warm! The party hosts were AMAZING! They are very welcoming and friendly. They managed fourteen 8 years olds brilliantly from start to finish! The kids had a fabulous time and thoroughly enjoyed the party! Its the first birthday party of my son when I had time to talk to adults during the party and not be worried about managing the kids, the food etc! Both my husband and I relaxed there:) The food is included in the birthday package and all in all its a good value for money. They decorate the party area for you. All you need is to bring a cake with you. They can organise party bags as well with gold balls and hats. I highly recommend this place for families, group of friends and birthday parties! We...
Read moreI've had one of my worst experiences of a little day out with my grandsons. We arrived at your venue wondering around hadn't a clue where to go - the signaged was uninformative. I had to ask members of the public where to go and what to do
Eventually I found myself in a cafe type room queing still not sure if I'm in the correct place to purchase the family ticket for crazy golf. Yes we finally found out for ourselves where to go and what the rules etc was . Off we go I thought your course was a reliable one as it states wheelchair friendly - anyway I was surprised to tumble down on one of the holes surrounding areas . After feeling obliged to hurry along as others are waiting for you to hurry up - which isn't what you really want . My grandsons didn't enjoy their first experience of crazy golf - which I think is great fun , however not here - the worst time I've had in along time . Was not cheap - really was a rip off. One staff member on duty the whole of the time we were their - disgraceful, I'll never go back there again or recommend anyone else.
