I really appreciated how it was a perfect balance between teamwork and individual progress, as we got to learn from each other while also focusing on our personal development. There was plenty of time for hands-on practice, which really helped me build my confidence and learn new techniques properly. I booked the 3 day complete nail tech course to explore my options of becoming a nail technician. I've always enjoyed doing my own nails but my o ly experience was using gel polishes. Leesa was an amazing trainer. She made the theory parts enjoyable and easy to understand. The practical parts were all broken down into easy-to-follow steps and demonstrations. When it came to practice ourselves she gave us space to try things out but was always ready to help when we had questions or needed some guidance. I used builder gel and acrylics for the first time in the course and I was a bit apprehensive as I thought I wouldn't do very well. But just following her techniques I managed quite well and ended up being pretty proud. It gave me the confidence to move forward and keep practicing as I now know what I need to work on but also that it's not quite as hard as I thought it would be.
