National Trust - Watermeads Nature Reserve — Attraction in London

I haven't actually visited here recently I do have family who live nearby which is why Google has picked up my phone signal nearby. I have visited there many years ago whilst at Primary School on a field trip and it was very interesting. From what I hear it has been improved greatly over the years and is now regularly used by walkers and folks interested in Nature. The River Wandle runs through the middle of it. Fairly frequent visits with a local walking group. The reserve is maintained by the National Trust and adjoins the River Wandle. Entry is free to all members of the public , main entrance is near the Wandle Bridge in London Road, South Mitcham adjacent to The Hub sports ground. The reserve wasn't what I expected. I thought it would be filled with nature, but only saw 3 species of bird only 5 or 6 birds viewed in total. There are no bins situated around the reserve so the water has rubbish in it. People smoke cannabis here so may not be suitable for family visiting. You have to climb over 2 fallen trees on...
