Lovely place to walk or ride a bike. The Trail follows the Wandle River, and runs for about 12.5 miles from East Croydon Station to the Thames Path in Wandsworth near Wandsworth Town train station. It works it way through 13 green spaces wich includes Morden Hall and runs next to Merton Abby Mills, which has a working waterwheel. There are several parts of the trail that are suitable for nature and ecological study, and some places where fishing is allowed.

This park is one of the hidden gems that no many people knows about. There is a cycling route that takes deep into Surrey. During the summer you can pick wild berries. For us the park is within walking distance but the kids always bring scooters and bikes. The trees here are old, therefore tall and with large trunk, a beautiful art of nature. Some people have the license to fish, so every now and then it is possible to spot a very concentrated person fishing.

If one visit the nearby Morden Hall Park it is quite nice exit through the Wandle Trail (part of the Ravensbury Park). It is a narrow passage that follow the river Wandle. Reasonably maintained, it has some centenary trees and a quiet feeling, that confound the position in the middle of a thickly populated area. Give the impression of being lost in a bygone era.
