I had a great experience at No1 Lounges. The place felt very cozy, casual, and relaxing—exactly what you need before a flight. I also appreciated how clean and well-maintained the lounge was—it really stood out compared to other lounges I’ve visited. FYI: It was a bit hard to find at first. You’ll need to take the elevators by Gate A18 up to the second floor. Overall, I would definitely recommend No1 Lounges to anyone looking for a comfortable and enjoyable airport experience.

We usually visit the No 1 Lounge in Gatwick which offers a menu with small a La carte items and a cocktail menu. So we were really surprised when we got here and it is a basic Aspire or Plaza Premium Lounge. I'm so disappointed by it that I'm writing the review while here. The food is all cold, except for the soup, which is not great. A choice of three wraps, three cheap looking salads and a very dire looking "salad" bar. The fruit bowl, pictured has shrivelled two week old fruit in it The bar - it is not clear what is included and what is not. I asked if a bloody Mary was available and was told it was, as part of the entrance. Overall, a pretty rubbish experience. Really lovely staff. Nice interior design, but at the price, they are absolutely taking the mickey and I feel utterly ripped off. We are here at 6pm on a Thursday night, no hot dinner options. At the price tag, this is unacceptable. I would not recommend.

I used the lounge on the way through Heathrow last week with my daughter and paid for admission. The lounge enjoys good WiFi and plenty of electricity outlets. However the outlets we used were positioned poorly leading to the charger being kicked and broken. The food was ok but is mainly a soup and sandwiches affair. The hummus looked good but the salad quite sad and dry. All food was replenished regularly. Alcoholic beverages are available on request from behind the bar with water and soft drinks from fountains in the buffet area. Being reasonably tall (183cm) I found the seating uncomfortable as they seem designed for shorter pers. The staff were all fine. The lounge is only accessible by lift and I found it a little tricky to find and there are no windows so it felt a little airless and claustrophobic.

The staff originally asked us to sit in a table, which we agreed. After 30min, my dad felt tired and wanted to take a nap, so he sat at one sofa. After 10min, he was kick out from the sofa.

When I went to the front desk asking to talk to the manager, one of the employees told me that it was the lounge’s rule to only allow who have prebooked the lounge to take the sofas. When I asked him to show me the rule in a written paper, he started to pretend that I was being unpolite - even though I was talking to him calmly without even raising my voice!

So, when he realized that he wouldn’t be able to pretend that I was being rude, he told me to look for the NumberOneLounge website, where supposedly was the rule.

When I opened the website, at first he told me to look after the rule myself. Then I told him to show me himself the rule. As he couldn’t find the rule, then he let us use the sofa.

So, to summarize: THERE WAS NO SUCH RULE AND WE WERE SUBJECT OF RACIAL...
