Went here for lite brunch waiting for my flight last week and as a former Sous Chef and AM of this company a few years ago, it’s so disappointing to see that the service and customer care has gone down. Now, I’m not sure how much have changed since then but what I saw was worrying.

I’d like to point out how dangerous it was to see the chefs were cross contaminating the knives and boards. Saw one of the team leaders in the kitchen cutting the avocado rolls on a FISH BOARD with a WHITE KNIFE (for desserts) and the spicy katsu roll on the VEG BOARD with a RED KNIFE (for raw meat). Now, people who doesn’t work in kitchen job wouldn’t usually know about these things but it is dangerous. To add to this, the team leader didn’t say anything to the other kitchen members when they were doing the same thing.

When I told one of the FOH members about what they’re doing in the kitchen and asked who I was, he immediately told the kitchen staff about it and somehow made our experience worse by making us wait for our order a lot longer than usual. And one chef even had the gal to start cutting a cucumber maki with a blue knife on a white board while looking at me.

This is dangerous and if a passenger ends up getting an allergic reaction due to cross contamination then it’ll be a big problem, especially if they’re...

We thoroughly enjoyed our recent meal and the delightful atmosphere at your establishment. From the moment we stepped in, we were struck by the nice, calm, and quiet atmosphere, which made for a truly relaxing dining experience. For our meal, we tried the Breakfast Ramen and the Pepper Squid. The Breakfast Ramen was truly good, offering a comforting and flavorful start to the day. However, we found the Pepper Squid to be quite overcooked, resulting in a very chewy texture that lacked any of the expected crispness or crunch. It was unfortunately not up to the same standard as the ramen. Regarding the service, we appreciated the efficiency of the QR code ordering system. However, we must give a special, heartfelt mention to Vigi. From the moment she greeted us at our table, her warmth and attentiveness were exceptional. Vigi consistently checked on us throughout our meal, ensuring we had everything we needed with a genuine and friendly demeanor. Her proactive and caring approach truly made our visit memorable and elevated the entire experience. Vigi was absolutely incredible! Overall, despite the issue with the pepper squid, the pleasant atmosphere and, most notably, Vigi’s outstanding service made our visit a very positive one. We look forward to returning and hope the kitchen can address the preparation...

Had the worst dining experience at Yo Sushi! If I could give it 0 stars I would! Service was extremely poor! Staff were unfriendly, not one smile or thank you, I had to go to them to get service, the food was poor, the miso soup I had was way too salty to eat. I paid over £3 for it, it was suppose to be bottomless miso soup, they serve it to you in a very small tea cup size bowl, but the chef must have got the mix of miso and water wrong, it was far too salty to eat. I asked the waitress if she could add boiling water to the soup or tell the chef that the soup was far to salty to eat. She said “you eat that first then I get you more” I told her I couldn’t eat it, it was far to salty and just needs diluted. She walked away and didn’t come back. I my bill was £14.65 and all I managed to eat was a small bowl of rice and 5 gyozas (a starter) I didn’t get the soup I wanted and because I had to catch the flight, I could no longer wait for them to sort it out. It was only 11:00 so there was no rush and busyness of customers, just extremely poor service and food and value for money. I won’t be eating at...

Food experience is good.. fresh sushi and more. Comes around on a belt and you just grab what you want.. you can also order some hot food but good luck, service is literally nonexistent even though we counted 6 people (servers, not including the food preppers) working.. it was a bit confusing (we could not even get a drink) as I really wondered why they were all even working if there is nothing for them to do. Most of them just stood by the back checking their phones. Not once were we asked anything or even acknowledged that we were paying customers. I feel like even a 5% effort would have vastly improved the experience.. not to mention none of the workers wear any sort of uniform or even name tags so it is difficult to tell who works there. One guy who was wearing a red plaid shirt in particular seemed to be the most clueless.. his own co workers were asking him why he was not doing anything. Found out there are 'Help' buttons hidden behind the soy sauce.. almost all of them are activated and the staff doesn't appear to be aware of what they mean.

Do yourself a favour and avoid this place. It can't even be called a restaurant. I am usually against eating at airports in general, as they are usually overpriced but I was going on a business trip and quite hungry... So I decided to give this a chance. What a mistake. Portions were minuscule, the Nori on the sushi was not even sticked together, the salmon was the blandest thing I've ever eaten...I could go on. The thing is, the service wasn't great either. First of all, the place was half full when I got there, but instead of sitting me on a proper table, they insisted on sitting me on a stool where the funny-looking carousel with sushi plates goes. It's not just that I hate stools, but it's the fact that they sat me cramped in between two people, rather than somewhere where I could move my arms without bumping into the next person. I also had to order the bill 3 times as the guys kept forgetting. Only person I could save was the concierge/cashier who was very diligent.
