Notting Hill - Concept Serviced Apartments — Attraction in London

The apartment looked a lot better in the photos, the balcony was misleading you have to enter the balcony through crawling through a window. |The road is very noisy, windows are not double glazed. The apartment is also noisy with what sounded like Elphants living above and doors slamming. R|The bed feels like something you would sleep on in prison. Toilet flush broke, the house keeper very helpful and quick to sort but then kept breaking, and we just wanted to be left in peace so we ended up manually flushing pouring water down. ||The location is great very central and close to portobello market.||If you are happy with student type accommodation then this is right up your street. Lovely little place, very comfortable. Shame there wasn't an oven, but it was well equipped with a microwave, fridge and kettle besides. Nice big, comfortable bed too which is always a bonus! Self check in was easy, as was check out, and the apartment was convenient for the tube. Only down side was the noise - though perhaps I'm just used to the quiet of the countryside. No secondary glazing means the sounds from the road are just as loud as if the windows were open. We’ve booked this place for four nights and it was so horrible that we had to leave after the first night. We simply couldn’t get any sleep as the flat was on the ground floor facing a busy street and basically it felt as if we were sleeping on the street itself, it was really incredible loud. In addition to this it was awfully hot and not really possible to open a window. We’ve never left an hotel or an apartment earlier, but this was such an horrible experience that it was impossible to stay. Ive asked if it’s possible to switch to another room,but it wasn’t.
