Hi all, I've been to Avondale Park, a nice place where to take children, dogs or go for walks in peace, the park is not very big so rather than walks, you can sit quietly and enjoy the joyful cries of the children who always put cheer, there are some very nice new picnic tables, there is also another large area that they are renovating and also inserting new games for children. There are both games for small children and older children. I see people reading books, chatting, eating a snack sitting on the table, there is also a small street with relaxing benches looking towards the sports fields. Looking forward to...
Read moreAvondale Park is a super little park, great for younger kids. There are two playgrounds - an enclosed one for younger kids I would say up to about 4 years old and another play area for older kids. The facilities are great with jungle gyms, slides, climbing frames, etc. Enough to keep kids entertained for a good length of time.
There is also a little covered snack kiosk serving light snacks, drinks and ice creams with a seated area.
There are two tennis courts as well, often with tennis lessons going on, specifically for kids.
