I love this promenade. First because it is always clean and wide enough, so you have plenty of space when you walk with your partner or family without stumbling on people. Second because for the length of the whole promenade you enjoy most beautiful views of the river and its other bank. A little noisy and slightly air-poluted from the cars passing by the nearby Portsmouth road, however this should soon go, once we completely move to...

The riverside walk along Queens Promenade is perfect no matter the season. Various birds, river views, cafes and restaurants surround it. Despite its popularity with locals and visitors, it is a peaceful walk. If you feel fit, you can walk to Hampton Court in 40 minutes. The sunsets create a beautiful scene and make the area magical. A must-do walking experience when visiting Kingston Upon Thames. Each visit will provide you with...

This is a great place to take a family stroll down the river. It's very safe, calm, family friendly and right next to the water. You will often see lots of kayaks and boats go past you on the river. Some of the boats which people live on that are docked are also full of interesting things to see, which are quite entertaining for small children. We love coming here and talking a calm, relaxing family walk...

I used to visit the shopping centre at Kingston upon Thames quite often before Covid started. This time I went for a short walk beside the lovely river Thames, it was very refreshing experience for me. Beside this river side restaurants and many street food options are just 2 minutes away for weekend lunch. You can enjoy the sun with a bottle of beer and loads of chitchat with your loved one, friends and families.

A perfect route to travel to Kingston via surbiton via foot or vica versa. Nice arrangements of benches. Bins in good areas. Nice cafe open in the summer for refreshments etc. Great scenery of the river thames. Downside the flower beds could be kept better, the massive flaw which prevents me giving it 5 stars, is the shocking state of the toliets,a real let down.
