A good place to visit for a bit of local history. The guided tours are free and run by volunteers — thank you to Tim Roberson who gave us a clear history of the windmill's technology and how it has been adapted through its years.
Before heading into the mill, there is a brief summary given on the structure of the two models outside, including a sample of wheat at different stages of the milling process.
The stairs/ladders inside are quite steep and may be difficult to people with limited mobility, however, you can stay on the ground floor and watch a video documentary on the windmill.

The tours are run by volunteers, we all had to climb up to the 4th floor, amazing views of London from one of the windows! I learnt a few things, some things I already knew. You have to park a street or 2 away but that’s well sign posted.
