This park is a beautiful green space located in Central London by Buckingham Palace, not far from Westminster and Big Ben. It offers plenty of places to sit and enjoy nature. At the heart of the park, youâll find St. James Park Lake which is home to swans, ducks and pelicans. Try and get a glimpse of a pelican feeding or visit the Blue Bridge at the center of the lake for views of Dover House, Whitehall and a distant London Eye on one end and Buckingham Palace at the other. There is often an ice cream truck or food kiosk open near the entry where you can purchase something to snack on or bring your own picnic to take advantage of the space. This park is really gorgeous and peaceful. My little one had a fun time at the childrenâs playground. He also got so excited when he saw different kind of birds walking freely in the park. I know itâs very tempting to feed the bird or squirrels food, but please donât. There are signs everywhere to remind people not to do so.
