Updating my previous review: I went here a while back and didn't have a great experience, the owner got in touch and was very apologetic, I went back and the food and drink this time were great. The bap was a greasy delicious mess, these coffees were great, and they went well beyond my expectation of service. Thanks Long & Short for offering a resolution. Also as I said before they have some of the best Covid safety measures I've seen and they serve quickly with a good range of food and drink.

We popped in for some take-away coffee and it was THE BEST. Had our favourite cortado and can confidently say that this is the best in the area - the coffee has some very specific sweetness to it, almost like a nice mellow cocoa aftertaste, but is still strong with a velvety taste rather than very acidic. We enjoyed every sip at one of the colourful tables outside.

Owner is a street art connoisseur and helpful guide to other eye candy in the neighborhood including Phlegm and Banksy works. A must visit for urban street art preservation.

Honestly, Long & Short ticks all the boxes! The food is lovely, perfect selections for your beverage of choice. The service is fantastic! Both Jeremy and Beck are very knowledgable about coffee and are very friendly. A big reason why I spend way more time than I should there is because of their hospitality. Now, as a coffee enthusiast/nut job, this is the main reason why I always come back! The coffee is absolutely delicious! Whether it is as an espresso (My main go to), filter, milk based coffee, it always hits the spot. I also buy their coffee beans to take home and are now my go to, so if you're reading this and have a set up at home? Buy their beans! Quality beans are paramount for a tasty coffee so you will not be disappointed. My favourites are the Peng 14 and now their Peng 15 however, their other beans are great. Very high scoring specialty coffee sourced from some of the best farms in the world. I am so impressed 👏 🙌 👌 priced at very affordable rates. It is a luxury bargain!

And they have an indoor swing!

The barista is very friendly and brews amazing coffee at lightening speed.

I am sad that I didn't know about this place earlier. Will visit again soon 😊 This is the perfect place for coffee, and to bring friends or just read a book!

Sadly cannot rate it any other way as they weren't open on time, then proceeded to let queue-jumping-discount-entitled market traders order ahead of us, leaving us no choice but to walk away. Typical illustration of why independent speciality shops struggle to take significant market share away from the chains. The 90s are over, making people feel second class doesn't make them come back (or recommend you).
