Read moreRefreshing place so close to the city. It is indeed a hidden gem in the heart of city of London. I got to visit the park on one of the hottest day during summer. The park is amazing, with some very old huge trees and lush green fields of grass and during spring you can some beautiful wild flowers and butterflies.
Stanmore county park has something for everyone, like picnic spots, dog walking, a bit of easy hiking and biking trails.it has a lake called Pear nature reserve with fishing spots.
it's easily accessible by public transport as one of the entrance is in-front of the station at few minutes walk away making it the perfect day trip destination for anyone looking for a break from the city.
I loved taking a leisurely stroll around the lake , enjoying the cool breeze and stunning views. It was a great idea to escape the hustle and bustle of city life and reconnect with nature. Over weekends there could be people in the park but of peak time it’s very quiet and serene in the nature.
