Read moreIt's a shame this park is a little lack lustre. It has lovely mature trees that cover the edges of the two main rectangular pathways. It just needs the oomph of bigger flowered shrubs, an injection of colour. The plantings are all rigid with no real texture or architectural features. Despite the best efforts of the dedicated Friends of Wormholt Park LBHF has failed to give this local Park an adequate face lift since Parkview Centre for Health and We'll Being arrived on its Eastern border. I believe £1 million was supposed to be spent on it. I see little evidence other than the Changing places toilet, the large striking wooden climbing frame and a re tarmacked tennis/ basketball court. Read moreGood sized park, very neat and complete. The symmetry of the path crossing and surrounding it makes me happy. There ere sport areas on the west side and play areas on the east.
The child play areas have good, fun equipment which seems well kept and is always clean. It can get busy and I do wish there was at least one more of the popular rides, but it's great for kids to socialise and learn to share. They seem to have removed two swings, maybe because of lack of space.
The one thing I miss is some water body or fountain, with colourful flower beds. Other than that I'm really happy that I'll be moving closer to this...
