My experience at this pizzeria was nothing short of extraordinary. From the moment we walked in, we were warmly greeted by the owner, Alex, and his attentive staff. It's clear they truly understand what customer service is all about and how to make an evening special. The atmosphere felt like coming home. We were pampered by everyone, and the ambiance was enriched with classic Italian and Neapolitan music, featuring greats like Pino Daniele. The decor perfectly mirrors that of a high-end pizzeria in Naples, giving it an authentic touch. The food was simply outstanding. As a Neapolitan myself, I can attest that this is the only place outside of Naples where I've found true Neapolitan pizza. The ingredients are of the highest quality, sourced directly from Italy, as Alex explained to us. The salsiccia and friarielli pizza tasted just like the ones from the best pizzerias back home. Service was impeccable. The staff catered to our every request with a smile. Alex took the time to share the story of how the pizzeria started and the origins of their ingredients, which are all imported from Italy. The drinks selection was impressive, with Italian beers like Ichnusa and even craft beers from Neapolitan breweries. The speed of service was remarkable, with minimal wait times even during peak hours. What's truly astonishing is the value for money. Despite the top-notch quality, the prices are very affordable. For instance, a Margherita pizza, made with the finest San Marzano tomatoes from Salerno, is priced around £10. In conclusion, this pizzeria offers a slice of Naples in every sense. From the atmosphere to the food and service, everything is exceptional. Highly recommended for anyone looking to experience authentic Neapolitan cuisine without leaving London.

Never have I ever (well now I have) left food in a bowl that I paid for. This review is specifically for the lasagna which is 100% not homemade at all. The fresh tomatoes and basil added to the top might trick you for all of a few minutes, before you break into the greyed beef mush and stacked poor quality pasta sheets. Being lied to is already not appreciated, but paying almost £15 (after service charge) for the privilege of being able to write this review with a slightly sick feeling in my abdomen is the worst use of money on food I've ever spent. My friend did note them taking a couple of frozen foil trays downstairs, and he commented on the poor quality the whole way through, not finishing his either. It only got worse the deeper I got. The guy working there, who was perfectly pleasant, not recommending any of the Al Forno items on the menu should have been a dead giveaway, but unfortunately I couldn't order a pizza due to my own issues. Maybe one day I'll return to try something that they actually make, but I do doubt it after this experience.

If you’re looking for authentic Italian cuisine in London this is definitely the place to go! We traveled about a hour from our airbnb in search of the best sourdough pizza in London! The pizza was so delicious quite possibly the best I’ve ever had. It was even better than the most famous pizza places I visited in Naples, Italy. My sister loved the Prosecco and I enjoyed my orange juice. The tiramisu was delicious, light and not too sweet. The ice cream with fudge was a perfect treat after a perfect meal. We also enjoyed the Broccolini and the Gnocchi with a creamy pesto was so good! The owner Alex made our visit so special from the moment we sat down. Our server and the cook were also very friendly. Alex did a wonderful job selecting his staff. Our server made sure we were enjoying everything and even noticed when we got a little hot and turned the A/C on for us!! I wish we didn’t discover it on our last night in London…can’t wait to come back the next time we’re in London!

I am someone who is disabled and from a minority background. I attended this little shop today after seeing some favourable reviews online. The owner was sitting outside playing on his phone. I asked him if his available for business and he responded by saying he has no toilets! His demeanor was one of disgust and indifference. I again reiterated that I would like to place an order but again he reiterated obliviously that they have no toilets. Annoyed at his continued false presumption, I asked him sternly does he not want me to make a purchase?!! After seeing my irritation he realised I was offering him some money and suddenly changed his tone and invited me in pleadingly. I ordered a basic vegetarian pizza and a garlic bread with cheese as they had no other starters available (allegedly). The food tasted extremely dry and stale and I was continually stared at by the owners Italian customers/ relatives/friends, whom he seemed very familiar with. I felt very uncomfortable sitting there and after taking just a few bites I hobbled over to the owner with my walking stick and requested if he could be so kind as to pack my food as it was hardly touched. He inaudibly gestured that there was a box behind me and I can do it myself which I did and hobbled out disgusted promising myself never to return. From this experience I can only deduce that this establishment has a preference for a certain kind of customer and it is not a minority - even though they will gladly take your money and begrudgingly provide you with a sub-par service. I was made to feel discriminated against and will never return to an establishment that is bigoted and has a fascist...

We celebrated my daughter’s birthday at this pizzeria, and I’ve taken time to reflect before writing this review — because unfortunately, it was a deeply disappointing experience.

We made a reservation three weeks in advance, specifically for a birthday party. We were given a fixed price per child, which was not cheap, and we agreed to it. We also paid a deposit and made a pre-order ahead of time.

When we arrived on time, our table was occupied by other customers. The staff made us wait while they finished their meals, and only then started setting up our table in front of us — nothing was ready, despite all the planning and confirmation.

When I expressed shock and frustration, the owner told me, “If you want me to serve you, stay quiet or I’ll cancel your whole party.” It was a shocking and stressful moment — especially with a group of children standing by, expecting a celebration. I had no choice but to stay silent and accept the situation, for the sake of my daughter.

As for the food: • The pizza was genuinely delicious, no complaints there. • However, the pasta was very poor — I would not recommend it. • We were promised a birthday cake, which I assumed would be house-made or specially prepared. Instead, a staff member ran outside and returned with a supermarket cake at the last minute. That was incredibly disappointing after everything we were promised and paid for.

Overall, we paid a high price for a celebration that was disorganized, poorly managed, and stressful. I strongly do not recommend this place for events or celebrations. Come for the pizza if you must — but absolutely do not trust them with your...
