Was visiting Cornwall to see my Dad with my wife and daughter. Wanted to see what softplay were nearby. Settled on Raze the Roof due to the reviews and photos.
Excellent softplay. Better than most (especially in and around the Bristol area).
Much larger than I thought. Excellent for children of all ages but mostly catered for 5 to 10 year olds I'd say (and some adults thinking they're fitter than they are!). My toddler loved it - she had lots of things to keep her entertained. The slides were excellent.. way faster than most I've seen on softplay areas. The "death slide" was a highlight and not for the feint hearted.
The on-site cafe is also excellent. The coffee was some of the best I've had at a soft play (I had a laté). We also ordered a portion of chips which were amazing.. not something I personally expected but they are worth mentioning.. better than some chip shops!
Extremely clean and COVID secure. Hand sanitiser everywhere, staff maintaining social distancing, tables adequately spaced out etc. Adults had to wear masks at all times even in the softplay areas which was annoying by obviously necessary.

We have been here before, but we booked a party for our sons birthday. We went with the Playsar Party which includes:
x2, 10 minute laser games Unlimited access to the Mega Play frame Unlimited jugs of juice Free return Play for the birthday boy Free entrance for the party adults Choose from the hot food menu Cake Ceremony by your party host, please bring your own cake! Complimentary drinks for the birthday child’s parents
This is a 2 hour slot in a party room, but once that time is over, the children can continue to play in the Mega Play frame and we just move to the main seating area.
The children all absolutely LOVED the laser tag - as did us parents! We had one 20 minute game instead of 2 x 10, and we all came out drilling with sweat, but laughing and happy.
The children all chose what they would like for lunch on arrival, and this was served when we finished the laser tag. Ice lollies followed 😊
The staff then brought our homemade cake in and joined in singing happy birthday.

Me and my friends came to cheer up another friend up as her favourite pet died :( however when we got their we were told our booking was non existing even though we showed them our conformation, which they payed not much interest in ! If I could describe my experience in 3 words I would say it was 1: disrespectful 2: outraged 3: a waist of petrel In an economical crises a wasting petrel is NOT an option not to mention how bad it is for the environment ! I am infuriated with this encounter and quite frankly I’m discussed with this how humanity has gotten I will be the bigger person and not demand compensation but I do want a written apology.
