Castlefield Gallery — Attraction in Manchester

It's a cute small gallery with local artists & students. Was a volunteer there for a year. Helped our with reception, emails, meet & greet, organising & assisting at events, with free curry afterwards. Exhibitions change every few months, & volunteers, from many walks of life including students, if physically able can assist with de-install & installation including painting wall & fixing plinths for art words. I wandered in there one morning and as I was admiring the Johnny Depp self portrait, a guy who was working there just happened to walk in. He proceeded to give the best introduction to art ( Johnny Depp, Bob Dylan and Billy Connolly) I could have hoped for. Must have been about 45 mins long - coffee included! Just Brilliant! So...
