I'm a local Google guide so finding good food places is kind of my thing lol Etci Mehmet was the hype that everyone was talking about so me and the lads thought let's go check it out and celebrate that we're graduating this year and celebrate we did 🍰 the entrance is appealing to the eye with a lovely flower wall as you enter and a nice little area for anyone who wants to grab a shisha and quality food at the same time. As we entered for the first time straight away the staff came to greet us and showed us to our table and the decorations inside were simply stunning and eye catching especially the glass display of the different meats they use that was a unique touch and they do a little dance and feed you a piece as well if you like just don't bite their finger like my friend did 😂 the customer service experience was on a different level I'm telling you we've never seen service like this before like wow 💯 but first let's talk food 😍 we came in a group of 5 and left with a receipt coming to nearly £300 so yes we came to enjoy big time and what a place to do it 😎 we got a range of food but my personal favourites were the Lamb Shoulder 😍 best I've ever had it honestly makes your mouth water up with flavour because it's so tender and juicy every bite just packed with flavour served on Turkish bread that's fluffy and flavourful so this is a Must if you want something that's quality as well as good on money as two can easily share 🤤 next up was the Etci Special Fillet Milion 😍 even though its pricy its honestly worth every bite its packed with juicy flavours that explode in your mouth and the bread is so rich in flavour as well like wow 😍 we ordered other dishes as well like steak and chops which were all amazing and cooked the way you like it but these two dishes were the highlight for the Mains so now let's talk dessert 🤤 all 3 desserts came with 3 sparklers and entertainment from the staff who sing and dance whilst serving you making the meal so enjoyable 🥳 so my personal favourite was the Turkish Baklava with ice cream 🤩 anyone who has a sweet tooth this Baklava will be your weakness trust me I can't even explain how fresh and how fine it tasted it for real makes you crave more and more 😍 the brownie was lush and so rich with chocolate and to finish of the grilled pineapple was unique and a tasty finisher 🍍but what makes this restaurant stand out isn't just the food 🤨 it's the entertainment that comes with it like honestly I was watching these guys cheff it up for fun and the vibe was unique and packed with energy like you HAVE to experience it if you like to have a good time 🥳 but for us what made this restaurant experience the best we've ever had by far is ...... 💎 Simon and Mehran 💎 these two amazing people were the staff who served us and even though we met as strangers honestly no lie they made us feel like family from the time we stepped in until we left these two amazing staff members made the entire experience one we will never forget 💯 like all the staff members are great and so friendly and polite and really make you feel special but we had the honour to be served by these two legends below and honestly it's staff like this that makes a business successful and makes customers want to go back for more so im truly greatful to Mehran and Simon for giving us the best dining experience of our life and we will definitely be coming back for more because 💎Etci Mehmet 💎 is the new number ONE 💯 perfect for families and friends to come in big or small groups even couples. If you want a unique experience one you will never forget then trust me this is the place for you 👆🏼 thankyou for the amazing experience Etci Mehmet and a big thankyou to the main man's Simon andd Mehran 💯 they also have a prayer room if anyone wants to pray Salah which is perfect 💎 Tee ®️

Visited on Thursday 31st of October with my husband we arrived around 10.20pm. There was just the 2 of us. Restaurant was pretty empty we sat in the middle of the restaurant. From the minute we walked in the vibe was off. Restaurant was dead music was loud and annoying you could smell smoking and sheesha right in the restaurant. We called a waiter over to order drinks we saw coke etc on the menu and asked it there were alternatives as be were boycotting coke. She suggested the soda to which we asked if that was like a house machine soda etc like coke she said yet. 5 min later the drinks come it’s scheweeps soda water ? Lol it’s first plain soda water secondly it’s owned but coke the irony. Anyway we mended it to the waiter he didn’t really understand but we ended up adding some lime cordial to it. Then we came to ordering the food we ordered beef tacos for starters they arrived swiftly and were delicious. We asked the waiter for suggestions for what to order and ended up ordered a dallas steak with garlic and herb butter and side of chips and the giant meatball special. The food came around 15 minutes the meatball first then the steak and then a few minutes later the chips with the steak. The steak was alittle tough and did have a layer of fat not the most enjoyable but still was ok. However the giant meatball was burnt I ate around a quarter but kept biting in to was tastes like a burnt fast and hard sides I did not enjoy it one bit. We did a tell the waiter this he said this is how it is because they cook it on one side more due and it’s ment to be like this I said I can taste hard burnt bit. But it was left at that he said sorry and cleared the table we ordered the baklava and ice cream this was a further let down it was dry and didn’t taste fresh. We once again told the waiter he said he had had the dessert a day before and it was perfect, however we said it was not today infact it tasted stale. Nevertheless we asked for the bill and it came to around £110. We paid and left and will not be returning. From the food to the ambiance to the service it was all underwhelming. Having dined at etc mehmet in Liverpool and Leeds and this one in Manchester by far this was the worst experience we will not be returning. We felt insignificant and ignored, the service charge it pathetic because the waiters literally have to be flagged down for everything. Not once did someone come ask how the meal was or if we needed anything

Lovely venue, lovely food, melt in your mouth meat... Very very noisey at night, it can only be described as being in a nightclub, which was not classy but very very tacky which only attracts tacky people so me and my family felt very out of place. Staff are constantly shouting when certain meals come out which is really quirky and entertaining but it's so loud in there that it's impossible to talk to each other, to get staff attention and the service is pretty terrible. The staff are great though, it's just that due to the environment being so loud and chaotic you can't get anybodies attention. Food is amazing! However I got a tomahawk steak which was £38! And it was tough, no flavour, quite a bit of fat on there so it was a bit chewy just on the edges, but for £38 your expecting something special and it wasn't all that. The mojitos and dacharies are amazing! The ribs are amazing, the lamb shoulder on Turkish life bread is just unreal melt in your mouth food. If I went again I would go during the day. It is NOT for decent Muslims families to attend at night... Its just very very loud and night club vibe which is not classy or decent. I know they have a lot of people come due to their experience of all the noise and goings on but I feel as though they limit their market scope because a lot of high end, affluent respectable people will not attend due to the night club vide they have going on. If I knew the scene was going go be more like a night club and loud music to the point you csnt hear yourself think I wouldn't have attended at night and gone during th day when it's calmer and more decent. I think for this place to really excel and have a better reputation they should really consider being a more respectable classy place as opposed to being chaotic. Food is amazing, still happy I experienced it and can tick it off my food list, but Never again at night anyways... Very expensive for steaks however the burgers and other sides re very very affordable and fairly priced. Same for the drinks which are amazing. I would say on average its £35 - £45 a head to eat in the place. Or if you get a burger and a drink it's about £15-£25 a head Thanks H

@etcimehmet_uk Review Etci Mehmet is a Turkish Steak and Burger House in Manchester City. They only have two other branches in Istanbul and Riyadh! The restaurant is well laid out with plenty of seating available, both outdoor and indoor. We love the fact that they have a window displaying all the meats, just like a butchers shop! All the meat is sourced from HMC abattoirs with full inspection throughout the full process. The customer service is excellent here and the staff have good knowledge of the menu. The vibes are great and it was cool to meet Baba The Boss! For starters, we ordered the Grilled Halloumi. This was a great starter that came with plenty of fresh salad drizzled with a tasty sauce. For the mains we choose the signature Giant Cheese Meat Ball. This dish is a processed Beef patty stuffed with cheddar cheese. We love the way this was served, slicing it up to see all the cheese ooze out! We ordered chips as sides for this and they were amazing. The meat ball was very unique and tasty dish. We would definitely purchase again. We also ordered the Lokum Burger. This comes with Fillet steak, cheddar cheese and cooked onions, served with chips. It was a very juicy burger indeed! For desserts, they have a small selection to choose from. We opted for the Turkish Baklawa with Ice Cream. The waiter had a amazing technique for serving this, slicing up the Baklawa and placing the ice cream inside like a sandwich! The prices at this restaurant is slightly higher than others, but the food was definitely amazing and very fulfilling. There is plenty of paid parking spaces nearby. Etci has a prayer room located at the back. Card payments are accepted here. We loved the food here and would definitely be back! I recently visited Etci Mehmet and it left me feeling disappointed and dissatisfied with my experience. While the ambiance and decor of the place were pleasing, there were several issues that left me feeling uneasy. Firstly, there was some sort of loud drilling works taking place in the restaurant that made it difficult to enjoy our meal or even have a conversation with each other. Despite the inconvenience, the staff didn't seem to be doing anything about it, which made the situation worse. Secondly, one of the plates we ordered was not available, and we only found out when she already had taken our order. We weren't informed when we were placing our order, and this left us feeling frustrated. Thirdly, our waitress seemed to have forgotten our order and took it down wrong for one of us. This led to further confusion and a delay in receiving our food. The vegetarian burger I ordered was a huge disappointment. It tasted like it had been cooked with meats, which made me wonder if the kitchen staff even understood the concept of vegetarianism. Also, there was no dedicated menu for vegetarians, which made it challenging for me to find something suitable to eat. Despite the restaurant being nearly empty, the food took a long time to arrive. It was frustrating as we had waited for a considerable amount of time for our food, and when it arrived, it wasn't worth the wait. Lastly, it was overpriced for the amount of food and quality we received. I expected better quality of food and service for the price we paid, and the experience left me feeling like I had wasted my money. Overall, my experience at this restaurant was not pleasant, and I would not recommend it to anyone. The issues we faced were significant, and it was evident that the restaurant needs to improve its service, quality of food, and staff training.

ETCI MEHMET is an outstanding dining experience that happens to also serve high quality food. This is HANDS DOWN the best Turkish steakhouse in Manchester! I'm going to cover the features within this restaurant and then give my overall review. Starting with the: Atmosphere - The only reason I'm starting with this key point first is simply because of how much of an AMAZING experience eating at Etci Mehmet is. I've personally never experienced such a well orchestrated dining experience that's intertwined with what you've ordered. The fire shows, music and "salt bae" moments never get old. Food - The way the food is presented to you, especially on your birthday or special occasion, is simply amazing. The menu has a wide range of steaks and sides so chose from. Although the food is quite expensive, the quality equally reflects the price. I ordered the Tbone steak served medium cooked and it was SUBLIME. I'd highly recommend it, especially if its your first time. Queue Speed - When I arrived at the restaurant I didn't have to queue at all - which was a pleasant surprise, considering how busy this place always is. Customer service - The customer service here is really outstanding. The person serving me and my friends really went out of his way to provide high quality customer service. He was very friendly, helpful, well versed on the menu and had a great attitude overall. Hygiene -The hygiene in this restaurant is really good as the seating areas were all clean and well looked after. ** Overall - I give this place a 5/5 as its hands down the best steak house in the city. I'd highly recommend it for you, my friends and family. Its well worth the money, plus the entertainment never gets old.
