My daughter and I have been here a few times just to use the trampolines and loved it! So when booking her birthday party, I didnât even read the reviews and I am SO glad I didnât!!
I canât believe the reviews are so bad ! Wow. Everything was amazing from start to finish.
We were a little late , party of 10 kids, but they added extra time free of charge so the kids could play for the full time. The extra activity with a prize was just amazing the kids loved it ! (Extra activity was the obstacle course that the children got to time-race on and whoever completed the fastest won a small prize, the obstacle was closed but they opened and closed it just for our party; we felt very special! )
Honestly, the party room was perfect I just regret not booking the Magical forest room which looks stunning and was available! I didnât do my research sadly, it wouldâve been the best room for my daughterâs party.
But the room provided was very clean, obviously you have to provide your own decorations of course. But the party food they provided was more than I expected!
Loadsss of yummy chicken nuggets - gorgeous , hot and crispy, loads of crisps, we got 3 jugs of juice on arrival, slush for each child, MORE juice, doughnuts, ice cream, 2 FULL platters of sweets. It was PERCECT. Our host was Veronica and she was AMAZING. Not moody at all ! I brought my own knife, lighter and cake wrap but Veronica lit the candle, cut and packed the cake for me!! The chicken nuggets were shockingly amazing, I had to ask where they buy them from, never had chicken nuggets that taste so good! They were not your usual chicken nuggets.
If you think the food isnât enough there is a cafe on site that adults can buy their own food from, you could even buy a portion chips and share it out between the kids if theyâre still hungry which I doubt they will be (but remember we were only 10, not sure if they provide bigger portions for bigger parties, please double check) .
Not sure what the other reviews are talking about, but the staff were amazing with us. I am so so so glad I didnât read the reviews because for sure I would have booked somewhere else.
Money wasnât the issue, it was the childrenâs experience that mattered for me. I had saved all year and had a good budget that I did not want to waste. Flip out Manchester eastlands (near city stadium) did not disappoint at all. It was way below my budget and they delivered exceedingly.
I am SO happy and grateful. Thank you so much and we will definitely book the magical forest room next time.
Only thing I will say is definitely upgrade the party rooms. We booked the music room and it did not look like a childrenâs themed room tbh. Would have preferred coloured music notes on the wall, a little Bluetooth speaker maybe to play music (since itâs the music room), some more themed decor to make it obvious that it is a childrenâs music theme room. The music theme didnât make sense at all.
But I am not disappointed with Flip Out , I am more than happy and satisfied with their service. Thank You so much Veronica. An amazing staff member and I hope she gets treated well whilst working with flip out. She goes above and beyond for people.
Thank you flip out for everything , my daughterâs 8th birthday party was perfect and the price was extremely reasonable.
Before I settled on flip out, I was considering booking another place for a party of - 10 kids , we would have got a lot less anddd it would...
Read moreIt's most unfortunate that you can't give 0 stars as my children's visit today didn't warrant a single star. We booked our one hour slot online for my partner and 5 children aged between one and fourteen. There was confusion and chaos in the queue in front of us and one of the more mature staff, possibly late teens, ran off stating she'll 'sort it out herself'. Our actual sign in was relatively smooth after this although I did feel that the remaining staff just wanted to get people inside so the chaos would subdue. The place was extremely busy to the point that it didn't feel safe. There was a few staff around but none that appeared older than mid to late teens, definitely none mature enough to manage such a busy and hectic facility. The cafe and seating area was filthy, no tables cleared and no sign of a cleaner, food all over the floor and drinks spilled over tables, even some of the seats were wet. I appreciate that kids and some adults can be messy but the lack of a cleaner in such a busy area was definitely a poor management decision. The play areas were dirty and the smell of sweat and old body odour was quite overwhelming in a few areas. A fight broke out between two groups in the play area and the staff seemed to just want to stay away apart from one young lad that stood in the middle completely helpless. This fight was between young adults, not children. The changeover between wristband colours could only be described as a stampede on the stairs leading from the cafe area. Perhaps a party had finished at the same time which could have been managed better but it definitely didn't look safe, especially with so many children in the area. We decided to leave before our session ended as the whole place felt mismanaged, unclean and dangerous. Even as we left the 'bouncer' at the door was being harassed and stopping people gaining entrance. Perhaps we came on an unusually bad day for the place but we definitely won't return. It felt like we were escaping an under 18s disco in a dirty night club. I did see one guy that had 'Manager' printed on his tee shirt but it wasn't the same colour as all of the other staffs attire so I didn't know if he was the manager of Flip Out or just some bloke that liked wearing a tee shirt with Manager printed on it. Also, the lift didn't work so people were carrying prams on the stairs. This business needs audited for safety and management procedures as a priority.
I have no doubt that countless people visit Flip Out and have an amazing time as the idea is great; it just needs to managed better...or...
Read moreI really did fear the worst ahead of visiting Flip Out with my 3 year old daughter today for Toddler Time.
Having looked at the pics of mess and dirt, and read the words of angry parents who have had what sound like awful experiences.
I donât want to give the place a kicking because itâs not actually that far away from being genuinely good, but clearly itâs a bit tired and dog eared in places which could be easily resolved if the management were able to engage to improve things.
Mine and my daughterâs experience today was good. For ÂŁ7 both of us got entry to bounce for as long as we liked between 11am and 4pm which I felt was decent value. I was expecting and prepared for buying Flip Out socks which is fine, and knew weâd have to hire a locker for our stuff if needed. As it turns out upon arriving at just after 11 there was only two other families in the entire space (which is enormous) meaning we had the run of the place and enjoyed all the facilities which were open (again, I was aware of the bigger attractions aimed at older kids being closed for Toddler Time so no disappointment from this) which included all the trampolines, junior inflatables, go karts, balance beams and the pits full of sponge cubes. More than enough to occupy a 3 year old for a couple of hours, which they did.
The toilets were fine - certainly not as disgusting as made out in other reviews but maybe we used them on a good day.
The cafe didnât appear to be open, but again we werenât planning on eating, having brought our own snacks which we ate in the venue on the benches by the lockers (not sure if this is officially allowed or not but no one said anything).
My daughter had a nice time and enjoyed the experience which is the main thing. So overall itâs a 3 out of 5. Looking at the prices for other sessions and older kids, Iâd probably feel more disgruntled at the cost but for what we got today for ÂŁ7+ÂŁ5 for socks wasnât bad at all.
Feels like we might have just been...
