A park that's not a park. Safe play area for children. A skate board/scooter area. A huge green belt to walk with dogs including meadow areas, a wooded area called Katherine's Wood with rough walks through. A pond full of wild life especially early spring when its full of frogs and spawn and tadpoles. Pond is behind a specially planted willow fence. Plaques placed around explaining the different wild life to look out for. A small look out area to watch birds feeding. Hard surface paths for easy walking, kiddies to ride bikes and roller skating on. Football pitches that are used for matches for little ones every w/e during the winter. Read moreMy doggy loves this park! Lots of freindly people with plenty of dog walkers! & open spaces. Also its very clean( peeps clean up after there 🐕) there is a playarea/skatepark/footie pitch. Its nice in the summer. You can also walk all through to the shops aswell. There are benches/bins. Maybe a few more would be good. Sometimes the car park can be full as it can get busy on match days due to the football club/ground opposite the car park entrance. One downfall is they do not have toilet facilities....

Small play area and separate skateboard park, otherwise very open with the odd copse breaking up the space. No public loos but there is a coffee takeaway down a side street towards the centre of the park which was very welcome. Small free car park so quite a few were parking along...
