New Milton Skatepark. — Attraction in New Forest

Great if you have to amuse the grandchildren, big enough area to accomodate dozens of children without it being over crowded. The downside is the parking, there are two council car parks close by, but both at least a six minute walk away, and you need to cross very busy roads whatever one you choose to use. Recently built toilet block is close by, and has full facilities for very young infants, a cafe is within a three minute walk from the skate park and the High Road shops...

Wonderful mix of people of all ages. The animal life from people walking their dogs to the argumentative seagulls, cute little wagtail couple, ravens strutting their stuff to cheeky little blackbirds and robins. The skate park and next door play park are pretty decent. Good facilities, nice area, etc. Unfortunately our skatepark visit was ruined by an aggressive group of 11/12 year olds smashing glass bottles, burning rubbish, smoking and one even trying to make a molotov cocktail. Better policing around there...
