Yummy doughnuts! They are a little bit pricey, but you must consider that these are baked in store and the ingredients are all fresh!

My sister in law saw their page on instagram and showed me their posts. We were both quite intrigued at how they tasted, as the goodies run out shortly after they open for the day. They said the queues were quite long, so we headed there early - and we were just in time!

The place was fairly easy to find, and the overall aesthetics of the place was homey and cosy. There was only a little area for seating, but it may only have seemed that way because of the hoardes of customers they get!

I superrrrr love the one with almonds (though i forgot what it was called) not too sweet, just right!

Aside from the doughnuts, they also serve coffee, but I have yet to come back and try it! When we came, we had a little sleepy kid in tow, so we have made arrangments to come back...

Possibly the best doughnuts in the world, definitely the best in the North East. Not cheap, but these are incredible hand made doughnuts, made with frequently local ingredients to an incredibly high standard. The plain doughnuts are light and fluffy, don't taste oily like some do, and the monthly special flavours are really intriguing and out of the norm - baklava flavoured doughnut? Incredible. Like all good places, be prepared to queue if you don't come early, but they do keep baking during the day so you'll not miss out if you're prepared to wait. They do both vegan and non vegan options and honestly there's not much difference in the taste between the two, so absolutely try their vegan flavours. I'm in love with anything with a malted milk glaze, but honestly I could recommend everything they do and I don't think anyone would be...

Great donut shop. More than a donut as it is an experience. Wonderful flavours brought to life in a luxurious soft, airy, dough that is more effervescent pastry filled with luxurious flavours than the solid dough often associated with donuts. The everything cookie is a special treat, get it when it is available. Finally, in the summer, the ice cream sandwiches are simply mind blowing.
