A beautiful bay with steep cliffs. Mostly pebbles with some fine shingle which is lovely for playing with dogs and skimming stones but this isn't suitable for building sandcastles. There is also a view across the harbour towards the water powered railway ascending the cliff. This is a famous Victorian engineering marvel which is still working today. Tickets can be purchased and handily there is a café at the top. History with cake and a cuppa in one adventure! For keen surfers, there is an opportunity to catch some waves too 🌊

A nice little beach with access being over the small white bridge or the road. It's mostly shingle, stones, and even rocks. It does, however, offer plenty of benches near the edge, plus a cafe. When the tide is half out, you can walk past the larger boulders to yet another, secluded beach. Well-behaved dogs are welcome. You can see Wales from the beach, fairly easily.

A lovely place to visit, people are friendly, mostly dog friendly only the odd place you cant take a dog. Picturesque place, lots of rock pools for the kids, not a beach you would want to sunbathe on but beautiful in it's own way. Amazing fish n chips
