This is a great value play centre for the kids and grown ups. We had a blast playing along with our 6 and 8 year old nephews. The play frame is truly accesible for adults and children. The slides are great fun and there are staff keeping a watchful eye at key places in the play area.
Pros: great value for the family with a nominal £1 charge for adults accompanying children.
Really friendly and polite staff. Nice to see from youngsters these days.
Great parking once you find the location.
Fantastic slides and heavy duty climbing equipment. Really adult friendly.
Cons: sadly, it is a little dated and could really do with a deep clean. The addition of hand sanitizer dispensers dotted around would be really handy. The lockers seem a little dangerous as we had to push them back against the wall to yank the key out - they are not secured and are a bit wobbly.
Food is not the best and the coffee seems expensive for what is essentially a vending machine drink. The kitchen, dining area and lockers could do with a refresh.
All-in-all it is a good place to take the kids. They will have a blast , and as long as you go with the flow and enjoy it for what it is,...
Read moreAwful. Drove over 30 miles to take my niece to play and just because she is 10 and i'm 19 they wouldn't let her in because there wasn't a 10 year age gap. Disgraceful i'm afraid.
(Regarding to the response from the owner) As much as I would like to agree with the fact that it is "clearly stated on (your) website" I can tell you now it needs to be more prominent and bold, to prevent people facing this problem in the future. By the way this is coming from a previous junior front line web developer and now digital marketer.
In regards to my rating, I had a previous experience at your base in hull which was equally as appauling with a nephew aged (3) leaving in floods of tears because kids over aged 4 where playing in and around the section for under 4's. Further to this there were unsupervised trampolines at the facility which could have been dangerous at times if kids were on them. As much as I thought this might have been just a one off bad experience at that branch, I was hoping it wasn't going to be such a let down at your...
Read moreMe (19f) my partner (20m) took our little sisters (10f) as we’re looking after them for the week. I booked ahead and bought two child tickets and the two adults tickets for £1.50. However when we arrived the manager was very rude. She said the adults couldn’t play in the area, only ‘participate’ unless we bought another ticket. When i told her I’ve already booked on the website, and that the website told us something completely different to what she said. And that there was no option for an adult to buy a different ticket. And online it said we could play.
Her response was its not her fault and they can’t put all the small legal details online. And theres a student night where we also have to pay. But we’re not both students and we’re here with the children, so why would we go there? Which I thought was stupid and very unprofessional. Luckily we managed to go on without anymore hassle.
Furthermore the girls said there wasn’t much to do there, mainly just 4 slides. Unfortunately we won’t be...
