Take 5 Tea room — Restaurant in Lincoln

I’m not from Lincoln and I decided to visit take 5 as it was highly suggested. The visit began with a warm welcome as we sat down and were greeted with a polite service and a respectful tone of voice. After our drinks arrived we placed our food orders and the time waiting between ordering and receiving was fast and the quality of food lived up the expectations I had. I ordered the jacket potato with tuna and cheese and what I got did not disappoint. The taste was amazing, the tuna was fresh. The potato was hot and soft which made it more enjoyable. Was happy that the dish also came with coleslaw, lettuce and some tomatoes.

The best customer service we have received in years! We just ordered from here via Just Eat and it turned out that Just Eat had no drivers today and were not cooperating to resolve the issue - Take 5 Tea Room were beyond fantastic, they called Just Eat to try to resolve on behalf of us and when this didn’t help, they cancelled our order and drove all the way out to us to bring us our order. On top of this, they added 2 slices of chocolate orange cake (absolutely delicious) to apologise even though none of this was their fault. We ordered a sausage, hash brown and egg bap this morning. Delivery time was good however upon arrival we opened our baps to find the bread was mouldy. Both buns had multiple mould patches on them . Due to this we didn’t eat our baps and had to bin them. We essentially wasted our money as we couldn’t bring ourselves to try the rest.
