KFC Lincoln - High Street — Restaurant in Lincoln

The Colonel must be turning in his grave seeing what some franchises have done to his fried chicken recipe. This used to be a fairly decent branch, the premises clean and the food was decent. Went in today and was very disappointed. The fries were cold, soggy and bland. There was nothing you could have done to them to make them edible. I got a "mighty bucket" with 2 of each hot wings, chicken strips and chicken pieces. The batter was over-seasoned and far too salty, it had been over cooked too. All the batter tasted the same, the hot wings weren't hot and if I'd had my eyes shut, I wouldn't have been able to tell by taste which piece was which. One of the chicken pieces was the same size as one of the "hot wings" which isn't what you'd expect. There was no coffee, no ice creams, just cold, fizzy drinks. All in all, a massive disappointment and this branch of KFC is now on my "avoid" list of fast food places.

Edit: less than 24 hrs after my visit, I'm ill....

Ordered the bbq tower burger meal, large but only received regular chips. Annoying but could overlook that…

Ate some chips and a hot wing, took a bite of out the burger and almost chipped my tooth! Took it back to the restaurant and the lady on the till agreed the burger looked gross and asked for another to be made, but would only give me the burger because I’d eaten ‘most of it’.

I’d eaten what I’d eaten before I took a bite of the terrible burger and regardless the chips and other hot wing would be cold by now (you’re often lucky if it isn’t served cold) so any trained customer service employee would replace the whole sub par meal.

Not the guy working I had the displeasure of dealing with, rude and just wanted to be difficult. Ended up receiving a full refund for 3 meals so would have been cheaper to just get me a new meal. Confrontational attitude from him for no reason.

Every time I try to order from this branch, the staff are extremely rude and unprofessional. They act like customers are disturbing them instead of serving us. Very bad attitude and absolutely no sense of customer service. As for the food I ordered a spicy chicken burger, but what I got was a cold, stale zinger burger with a soggy patty and nothing fresh about it. The bun was cold, the chicken felt old, and it was drowning in mayonnaise. This is definitely not the original KFC zinger quality. I’ve eaten at KFC in India and the food there is amazing compared to this. Even local restaurants and Arabic takeaways serve fresher, tastier food than this branch. I feel like I completely wasted my money here. Honestly, this is one of the worst KFC experiences I’ve ever had.
