Sleaford Museum — Attraction in North Kesteven

Thank you, Sleaford Museum, for yesterday’s fantastic history walk around Sleaford, led by Mark Bamford. We started at St Denys' Church and stopped at key spots to learn about the River Slea, the old windmills that once brought prosperity to the town, and more.

A real highlight was visiting the site of Sleaford Castle and learning about its complex history - a culturally important site that’s recently been refurbished with a brand-new walkway. We’re looking forward to seeing even more developments there!

This is a very quaint place and is ideal for small groups of individuals wanting to learn about the local area. The opening time limits the amount t if time you have to explore as only do many people can fit In the building the staff are very thorough and informative and you certainly learn and relearn a few things that you may have forgotten or simply...

Ther are contemporary pieces in there but I wished there could be more pieces in 3-dimensional form but overall it’s a nice small place to see around and there is an upstairs and balcony to take photos from.
