Extremely unprofessional. Walked in at 15:45 and asked for a chocolate milkshake and a slice of chocolate cake. I was given cake thrown in a little box and chocolate milkshake (which I’m not sure even was milkshake) in a coffee cup. Everything was being packed away. It clearly does not close at 17:00 as stated on the opening hours (have submitted an edit to these). Was not worth the £11

Been a few times and enjoyed cakes and tea, hot chocolate and coffee. Compared to other outlets it is reasonably priced for the location and easy of getting something to eat and drink. Quality seems to vary depending on days and times we have visited and can be a long wait at weekends. Overall it is a nice place to get something whilst enjoying walk and has public toilets.

Queued 25 minutes, expensive, dogs on sofas, dirty tables everywhere, understaffed, overcrowded. Been here before many times, this is the worst it's been. Just not very impressive for the price, location, setting etc. Either be premium, or mediocre, but don't try both please. Kids said it wasn't better than Gregg's, but it was cold and double the price.

They are handling social distancing well. Currently operating as take away only but there are an appropriate number of tables in the courtyard to keep groups separate. There are plenty of other places to sit throughout the grounds should all the tables be taken. We went on a busy day and didn't struggle at all.

They have a one way system in place inside throughout the stables and a good queuing layout separate from those on the way to the toilets (only one member of our group went in to order so I can't comment fully on that bit).

Similarly the toilets have clear markings for where to queue.

All the coffees and cakes were good. They had Crimbles macaroons for the coeliac who hadn't expected to be able to have a...

Visited the park with some adult special needs learners. I purchased my food and paid £15 by card. A few seconds later I was shouted back by the woman and informed she had not charged me enough and I now had to pay an extra 50p, this was in front if a queue of people waiting. I was totally embarrassed. Then a learner who was trying to pay, with cash, for his goods, but was informed she had very little money in the till. I asked how he was supposed to pay, to which she shrugged and said with a card. I explained that he only had cash and she did absolutely nothing to help, so I paid using my card, making sure I was being correctly charged this time. Very expensive and very poor service, will...

There is good coffee and biscuits there but everything is overpriced. The staff there is far from being polite. They serve hot drinks in paper mugs which is not only crude but also is a threat to the environment. Who with the right mind could have invented this? Over 20 million trees are cut down each year to produce single-use paper cups. The loss of millions of trees means less carbon dioxide is absorbed from our atmosphere and as a result, our environment becomes more polluted and our ecosystem is...
