Whet there today and what a fantastic place it is. The building is well preserved as is the interior and the framework knotting machines are a marvel of design and engineering. It really is incredible that such a unique and important part of Wigston and Leicester's past exists and is available to see. Read moreLovely volunteers but very disorganised. There's nowhere to park so I struggled as its all cobbles. It was very reasonably priced but I couldn't see some of it. It's not really suitable for anyone with a disability. We purchased some items from the shop but when we worked out the prices later we couldn't see how it all cost as much as it did. We feel we were overcharged by about £10. Not the best of experiences all in all. They add up using pen and paper so it's hard to work out. Most items don't have prices on.
