Visited Devonport Naval Heritage centre with my wife and was greatly impressed. DO NOT FOLLOW GOOGLE MAP to get to the centre. The centre is on VIVID APPROACH. There is nice reception area where you can get tour guide of the centre. It is fascinating to see the historical exhibits presented by passionate and very knowledgeable volunteers. Only problem is lack of signs on the main road to point you to right place. The best guide is as if you are heading to Torpoint ferry, go over the set of traffic lights and than turn towards industrial estate. Than just follow Vivid approach and you should be there. Read morePlymouth must be proud of this museum, it ticks all the boxes: Welcoming and friendly, a first trip entertains for well over an hour. When leaving we started to plan the return visit. A knowledgeable guide (Drew) navigated us round with lots of discussion. There'll always be locals with memories of Devonport to illuminate further. Children will love the models and periscope.
