Pop-In Chicken — Restaurant in Plymouth

Absolutely awful food. If it can be called such a thing. Ordered online (which was on time, the only positive I can mention) and the food was not only freezing cold but also undercooked.

I ordered the boneless box, which was a tenner and some onion rings.

The chicken burger was one small strip, some nasty lettuce and a rubbery bun. The two strips were dry as hell and very hard to eat. The popcorn chicken was about 8 pieces, neither of which actually tasted nice. Finally, the chips were cold and not cooked properly either.

I didn't eat hardly any of it and threw what was left in the bin. While I hate wasting food, I would not have even given this to a starving person. I feel as if the bin didn't deserve punishment by putting the excess in it.

Now I've ordered a few times from here and it's never been spectacular, but this time was definitely the last. You could easily save yourself a LOT of money, time and effort by nipping to a shop, grabbing some chicken and cooking some up in the oven.

Ordered from pop In chicken after a hard day's work, was washing my daughters hair after her bath only to have missed a call from the resteraunt. When I checked the voicemail it was for the 2 ice cream tubs I had ordered they didn't have the correct flavours and were going to offer me another alternative but cause I didn't answer they couldn't tell me. Only they didn't realise they were on voicemail record and said some pretty horrible things which I have on voicemail saved. Ain't my problem you can't keep stock of things on just eat. Won't be ordering from them again disgusting service if there is a way I can report the stuff...

Been using these for years but today's meal has put me in 2 minds whether to bother again. I ordered an 8 piece meal, onion rings and corn on the cob. It was the worse meal ever, chips were burnt and dry chicken the same as we're the onion rings. Paying good money, I expect a freshly cooked meal and ours certainly wasn't fresh.
