School of Spice — Restaurant in Plymouth

Had a delivery of food from School of Spice and I was not disappointed. Great flavour and spice combinations with heat where you'd expect it. The Nan's where fresh and tasty and the lime chutney, well, wow! I can heartedly recommend and will certainly be ploughing through the menu to try other dishes in future. I ordered through the School of Spice website on my phone (Android) and although it wasn't the prettyist of web sites it was practical and functional. The payments process was easy and has the option for PayPal so you can do all the secure payment methods through there. Disgusting service, dirty kitchen, price on the board for my kebab was incorrect, it said £5.50 but was told it was £6.50 when I paid. Tiny portion of meat which was clearly the meat they used for their currys , sat on a stale pitta bread swimming in some strange thin liquid. Worst "kebab " I've ever had and argumentative rude service. Never again. Trade description should look into this as well as food hygene standards. Horrible experience . Went straight in the bin. Went here last night with a friend good choice of food on the menu for meat eater or none meat eater. We went for the vegetarian/vegan dishes, absolutely delicious both our meal was, best Indian l have had for a long time, staff was very welcoming & friendly. Would highly recommend a visit to this restaurant. If your driving there is is a carpark about 3 min away opposite icelend .
