Trefusis Park — Attraction in Plymouth

Walked the dog through the park with friends as we were visiting Southampton. Very large park with a huge green area for group to play sports, chill out and have barbecues.

The play park for kids looks really good. Well thought out with lots of space between the park furniture.

We went on a warm day and it was full of bikes., runners, dog walkers...

The grass gets cut on a regular basis but that is about the extent of the maintenance. The parked used to be a much better standard when I visited as a kid.

There are no longer and goals for football or netting on the basketball hoop.

There are a lot of signs for dogs to be kept on leads in certain areas but they are not enforced so...

Interesting park to visit. my first time,and after covid lockdown,( April 2021 ). Will call again when there is less rubbish dumped. less dog bags, more seats. that's the cons. On the more positive .great for wildlife. a great local facility, will definitely visit again and soak up the peaceful atmosphere. Good...
