There is a model railway run by enthusiasts that opens throughout the summer month's. You can take a ride on the extensive railway or just watch the miniature stesm trains 🚆 go by. There is also a green gym, equipment that you can use anytime for free. There are childrens swings, climbing frames and sand pits. If you fancy a game of tennis 🎾 there are a few courts. At the top of the park is a large open area of grass where you can have a picnic, a kick about ⚽ with friends or maybe fly a kite. There is also a artificial cricket strip, so if you have a bat, ball and wickets why not have a game. At the top of the park is Marland golf course, you can join or just turn up and pay for a round of golf ⛳ There are some nice walks too as well as an old redgra running track if you fancy a jog aroind it. Picnic tables, tennis courts and beautiful gardens. There is no cafe there but there is a petrol station which sells food, drinks and ices, are pricey though. I'd recommend bringing a picnic if you intend to spend a few hours in the park. There is also a lovely public house across the road and also a golf course next door to the park. The Miniature Railway opens from 1pm on a Sunday until 4pm during the summer. It may not open if the weather is bad. Look on line for information...a lovely park to be explored for everybody.
