Camelot Play Castle — Attraction in Rotherham

Had the worse experience here today ever. Was hoping to take my 3 year old to the baking morning 10.30-11.30 however ended up running late and arrived at 10.45. Had to park at top of hill as no parking. Stood in the queue waiting for pay for 5 minutes whilst my son decided to take his coat and shoes off ready only to be told there was no space for us. I only needed 1 seat to sit and feed my newborn baby while my son played for an hour but instead had to drag my distraught son along with a pram back up the hill whilst explaining why we couldn’t sit on any of those empty chairs he had been pointing out whilst begging me to let him stay to play. Had a 5th birthday party here for my daughter poppy. We had 24 in total and the staff were brilliant. Hannah did a brilliant job of entertaining the kids at dinner time and they all loved her and staff were really friendly and helpful. Anything we needed was no problem. Place was clean and ready and great value for money. Izzy was really efficient in organising all the food and it wasn't just for the kids, alot of adults ordered too and it took a bit longer for theirs but that was because she was sorting the kids first and did a top job with it all. Very disappointed with my daughters birthday here recently. The management increased the price between the time of booking the party and the day itself and didn't honour the previous price. Instead we had to publicly argue the point to get a small reduction, which was very unprofessional and surely a way for the management to try to embarrass us infront of our guests.

Add to that the show element of the day has been getting progressively worse over the last few parties we've had here, means we won't be coming back again the future. Really really disappointing for something that used to be an exciting and unique experience...
