Dexx Family Activity Centre — Attraction in Rotherham

The kids love this place. After all that's what is most important. Would advise checking opening times before going. There's a good sized single level trampoline park, a fun sized mini golf area and an indoor scooter park at the back (it's good to know there are multiple access points for different levels of ability). Make sure you bring a helmet (maybe knee pads and gloves as well). I like the cafe, the coffee is always nice and the menu is varied and well priced. There's plenty of seating and tables throughout the building, there are toilets and parking. It does get cold in the building but that's only if you're sat around which i don't see as a problem because the kids are active and get boiling hot from burning off excess energy. For what that place is, we love it and recommend bringing a big coat, a good book and 💷. I recommend it to anyone looking for something a little bit different, even if you only go once. Brilliant set up, kids absolutely love it. But from an adults point of view there's lots of room for improvement. All floors, chairs and tables very dirty. The food and drink prices need addressing. If people are being charged higher prices you'd expect to have higher quality food and drink. Nearly £4 for one portion of Aldi skin on fries, nearly £4 for a mocha coffee which in some places is worth it but using an Alcafe Sachet from a mutlipack that cost less than £1.50 for 8 and just adding water is not a £4 coffee. The skate park and jump facilities are excellent the kids love it but..... But the online booking/website is garbage, what makes matters worse is you have to pay extra if you haven't booked online. Logins don't work, the forms have to be filled out every time and sometimes when making a payment it goes back to check out so you don't know how many times you have actually paid them, sometimes I give up and don't bother taking the kids.
