What a shambles. The excuse was short staff. However, our order was simple 2 sandwiches (same filling) and 2 diet cokes. The order came out incorrectly. The wait for the order to be taken, and then again for the food to arrive was way too long, and it was service without a smile sadly. Paying was equally as painful. Read moreWent yesterday (Monday 29th July) for lunch. Sign at side said tea garden open. Went to back another sign said sandwiches etc. no hot food due to sickness. Went to door. All locked up. We had come from Brighton as had others we encountered there. All to find the tea gardens closed. Please don’t say you’re open when you’re not! And it would be helpful to put online the days the tea rooms are actually open to save people fruitless journeys....
