Very busy as it was a sunny day and a Sunday! The area near the beach where cars can park was deadly! People triple parked, people swarming everywhere (including me!), Police were dealing with a lost child incident so not interested in the near misses between cars and pedestrians. Find somewhere else to park (we didn't park near the beach). The beach needs better signage for where people with dogs can go. Other beaches have clear signage and asking people which park of the beach we could go on with our dog got the answer of "people are just taking their dogs anywhere they want". Ended up finding a map online so we got to the correct part. People friendly though. A group of lads playing football on the walkway, stopped while we walked past, I thanked them and received a "you're welcome", they started replaying after we were a good enough distance away. I think they were more not wanting to injure the dog 🤣 but polite and courteous young lads so I am not complaining. Drove through the area a couple of times after and much quieter but not beachy weather. Worth a visit but just beware at the weekend or school holidays it will be busy. I don't like people so not the...

The views from the beach are picturesque, especially during sunrise and sunset, providing ample opportunities for photography.Unlike the more crowded beaches of Brighton, Rottingdean Beach is relatively quiet, making it perfect for relaxation and leisurely walks.Easily accessible by car, bus, or even a scenic walk from Brighton along the Undercliff Walk. There are several parking options nearby, though they can fill up during peak times. The village of Rottingdean offers a variety of cafes, pubs, and shops within walking distance of the beach. The beach and surrounding areas are suitable for families, with plenty of space for children to play and explore. The Undercliff Walk stretches from Brighton Marina to Saltdean, passing through Rottingdean, offering beautiful coastal views.Overall, it's a perfect spot for nature lovers, families, and those looking to enjoy a quieter...

Beautiful and peaceful spot right by the coast. Rottingdean Beach is perfect for cycling, running, or skating—just keep in mind the pavement can be a little rough in some areas. There’s paid parking within walking distance, which makes access easy enough, especially on nice days.

One of the highlights is the little coffee shop (Peavey) just down the path near the beach—great for grabbing a hot drink or snack while enjoying the view. If you’re hungry, there are several pubs and local shops nearby, giving you plenty of food options even if you didn’t pack anything.

There’s even a public shower you can use to rinse off before heading home, which is super convenient. Overall, it’s a lovely spot to relax, get active, or just enjoy the sea breeze. Highly...

stunning eatery with seaside views and the best burger I’ve ever had šŸŒŠšŸ©µšŸøšŸ” just an hour’s drive from tunbridge wells, find hidden gem The White Horses in Rottingdean šŸ¤ as Rottingdean sits on the edge of the stunning south downs with dramatic views of the cliffs, make sure post-lunch, you take the undercliff walk to Brighton šŸ˜ šŸ“ the flat path actually starts at Saltdean and runs through Rottingdean all the way to Brighton marina so you can make the walk longer should you wish! the sun was shining and with the light reflecting off the white chalky cliffs, it was HOT but you get absolutely stunning views of the sea and the gentle breeze was very welcome 🫶 Brighton Marina is full of restaurants and bars so we did stop for a cheeky drink before heading back šŸø it’s very easy to follow, it took us an hour to walk each way and it’s around 8km ✨ save for this later for your next day trip inspo! šŸŽŸļø
