Have lived in Rushden all of my life (70+years) Hall Park has always been a lovely place to visit. A couple of points I feel let it down a little are:- now the original children's play area is a dog paddock the newer children's area is a bit lacking in things for small pre school age children. The other problem is the lack of accessible Toilet facilities available for disabled visitors. I know there is a good size one in the Hall just inside the side door, but that door is always locked unless a function is in progress. A new toilet possibly in the corner of the car park behind the Hall or near to the Museum might be a good idea perhaps. There is also a museum open at the weekends. Dogs are allowed but on leads only. However, there is a section gated off specifically for free running dogs, otherwise known as the dog park. Plenty of bins. Plenty of benches. The paths are suitable for buggies in most areas. A children's play area with climbing frames too. There are events held at Hall Park some weekends in the summer, so do check their noticeboards.

There are also plenty of dog waste bins but unfortunately dogs must be kept on lead throughout most of the park although there is a decently sized fenced off area were you can let them off.
I wish most towns had a...
