AVOID THIS PLACE AT ALL COSTS - ESPECIALLY ALLERGY SUFFERERS AND PEOPLE WITH SPECIAL DIETARY REQUIREMENTS.
If we could give zero stars, we would! The service that was provided by this restaurant was the ultimate display of stupidity and incompetence and the absolute WORST experience of customer service I have ever had in my entire life. Language and culture barriers are no excuse.
Our saturday night was ruined by this chinese restaurant. At around 6pm, we ordered food for the family; amongst us, two vegans and someone allergic to shellfish. We left a note with the order to prepare four dishes as vegan (no animal products - FULL STOP - and especially no shellfish). We received an order, but the dishes requested to be vegan were not prepared correctly. One of them contained egg. We have to assume the other dishes were also not vegan and not safe at this point, because they clearly ignored our note.
We called the restaurant directly and we spoke to someone who either wasn't listening or didn't understand what "no animal products" means. She said to leave it with them and they'll resend the order. We waited an hour and no food turned up.
So, we called them again. This time we got through to the manager/owner. We explained the situation to him and he said the food was with the delivery driver and will arrive within the hour. We waited patiently again, and no food arrived.
We called a third time and talked to the manager/owner again, explaining we had not yet received the food we had requested to be vegan (and without shellfish); eventually, another person took over the phone call and had me explain, once again, what it is we wanted. She said the food would be prepared to be vegan and without shellfish, and that she would hand deliver it herself within 20 minutes.
We received food that was NOT vegan friendly - the noodles contained egg AGAIN! So once again we called the restaurant and got through to the manager/owner, who became aggresive, rude, and insulting. He asked what we wanted him to do, so we said, "we just want our order to be made correctly to our requirements and a full refund for all the trouble this has caused". And he said " I can't help you now, we are closing" and he abruptly hung up the phone. By this point, we had been waiting FIVE AND A HALF HOURS since the order was placed, and the issue was still left unresolved.
Not only were we left hungry without safe and suitable food, but our philosophical beliefs have been insulted and a refund is not being provided. If my partner eats shellfish, he would DIE! How are we supposed to believe they will also prepare food without allergens if they cannot follow simple instructions such as "no egg". We will be avoiding this restaurant from now on.

We then proceded to get a table and then head to the buffet. This was a great disappointent - nearly all the containers were empty or contained a few dried up bits! when asked if we could get any more food we were told to ask for what we required. All that arrived was 10 small spring rolls. We were not offered any drinks, had to ask for them and was served by a young lady who was obviously feeling very much like she wanted to get out of there!! The poor girl was answering the phone to folks complaining that their take-away orders had not arrived. At one point the customer was asking to speak to the boss, HE WOULD NOT TAKE THE PHONE FROM HER BUT CONTINUED TO ROCK HIS CHILD IN A PUSHCHAIR AND WAS TELLING HER TO SAY ' THE ORDER HAD BEEN DELIVERED'!!! I am sure the customer knows if he's received his food or not! Then the poor girl had to say could he possible collect his order or he could have a refund!!!??? Several calls came in along the same lines in a short space of time and at one point, the boss's young son (aged around 12!) answered the phone and he was telling the customer they could have a refund because food hadn't arrived! Great eh, what were they supposed to eat! This place was good once but I will never go back. When I went to pay, bearing in mind what we had eaten, dried dregs of rice,noodles chicken stuff and seaweed, nearly fainted when presented with a total of £70.30, I REFUSED TO PAY THAT AMOUNT AND THE LADY WHO I PRESUMED TO BE THE WIFE, DECIDED TO ONLY CHARGE ME £40.15 half price for the food and full price for the drinks. Read more|| 2-3HOUR WAIT || BAD COMMUNICATION || NO REFUND || I've never left a bad review before but on this occasion it is important that I share the experience I had last week. My partner and I have ordered from here on many occasions and it has always been our go to Chinese. However, our experience last week on Friday 25th was horrendous. We ordered food around 1900 from their online website, to which we received a text that it will come in 90 mins. After waiting 20 mins after that specified time, no food was delivered. My partner called them and they reassured us that the food will be here in the next 20 mins. We waited a further 20 mins on top of that and still no food. My partner then called them again, the connection was not great and it seemed like he was talking to a child - they stated that the food was on the way, to wait for 10 mins. We waited a further 10 mins and still no food. My partner called them again, the speaker on the other end still sounded like a child and we asked for a refund and they hung up the phone. We had to call them again and ask for a refund and how they would process that refund, to which they responded they will do it when they are not busy. My partner had then asked to speak to someone in charge but there was just shouting in the background. No communication whatsoever and no apologies or explanation other than that they were short on drivers that day. If you're short on delivery drivers you should make that clear on your website to customers, instead of wasting their time waiting for food that will not come.
