A decision to venture out of our usual “hunting ground” found us discovering this cozy little gem. A small, but concise menu of sandwiches/bagels/wraps paired with DELICIOUS coffee and seasonal coffee treats! The shop is inviting and tastefully decorated with limited seating down stairs and an overflow upstairs section.
Pity there were no plated breakfast options, but with limited kitchen space it is expected. Our selection was a Large Caramel Latte and a Gingerbread Latte (divine). A breakfast wrap and a Salmon and Cream Cheese Bagel. The wrap was served “hot” which in my opinion is perfect for a breakfast wrap, my partner claimed it was “VOLCANIC” - the way I like my food. The bagel was sadly a massive letdown, although super tasty and well seasoned … the bagel itself was tough and chewy. Other than that it was a warm and inviting experience with pleasant staff and polite service. Towards the end of our meal the shop was full and there was a table of 4 (of what I would assume were locals) who dominated conversation, thankfully we were done and swiftly moved on.

The staff were wonderful with their product knowledge and friendliness, helping me to choose which type of coffee would be the best for me to really get a feel for their blend and made me feel really comfortable on my first visit. I ended up with a flat white with oat milk on the barista's recommendation and it was delightfully well-rounded and smooth with a fantastic mouthfeel.
The interior is all kitted out in a very relaxing green which I'm sure makes for a lovely soothing atmosphere to kick back in while you enjoy your brew. I will definitely be returning to try more of their coffee and give their (extremely tasty looking)...
Read moreMy Sister hired out 'The Loft' of Happy Mondays Coffee shop for her birthday today- we had afternoon tea and it was absolutely amazing! The staff were so accommodating and friendly, a really welcoming atmosphere! The food was delicious and such a variety of fresh sandwiches and cream cakes. The scones came with individual clotted cream and jam pots which is always a nice touch. Ron even took photos for us all too! At £20 per person, for unlimited coffee/tea and food it's definitely worth the money.
We had a member of the party who is Gluten Free, and her stand of cakes/sandwiches was just as varied as the rest of us and tasted AMAZING! We will be returning again...
