Chandlers — Restaurant in Scotland

Ate here a few weeks ago, service was a bit slow but that didn't bother us. First time eating since the menu change and we were disappointed. Had the nachos to share and they were so chewy. The cheese had melted and gone hard the tortillas chips were that soggy chewy way. The beef topping was nice though. I had the Red Pasta and honestly was something I would tip out of a jar. It really lacked flavour, there was supposed to be chorizo in it etc... My friend had the enchiladas and her only comment was I wouldn't eat here again. It looked good but images can be deceiving. My friend and I went in today for food and drinks. We enjoy the atmosphere is always good and drinks very reasonable priced. The reason I gave food just 4 stars. I ordered fish and chips, the fish was delicious but was let down by oven cooked chips and not home-made. Come on guys surely if your cooking fresh fish finish off with homemade chips.
