Hogarth Park — Attraction in Scotland

Back in the 70's & 80's the local gangs ( Haghill Powery and the Carntyne Goucho) used this place as their battlefield, for no other reason than boredom and to be the short lived 'king of the hill" . The powers that be of the time decided enough was enough and made it into a 'park' you could say progress of sorts...

A small green space which is usually very quiet however, it is not well looked after with lots of broken glass and litter. There is a nice monumnet though, shame there isn't more information about it.

Good points this place is an actual park and the grass was cut recently. The pyramid was sponsored by the local young team and decorated in various colours of broken glass. There was seating in the form of a burnt out couch and I saw two large crows fighting over an empty bottle...
