I'm sure this is a place already known by the Polish locals, however for those that haven't tried it I would highly recommend! For what looks like a simple cafe from the outside, inside it is well decorated and the dishes they produce are top quality. Many soups to choose from and some hearty mains. We had the dumplings(perogi), chicken soup, chicken and pork schnitzel and the pork shank. All was like lovely home cooked and really delicious. The potatoes are honestly some of the best I've ever had. The place was busy and we still had a good service and all of the food was served hot and well seasoned, our server was also lovely and answered any questions we had about the dishes, Will definitely be comming back!! (Would recommend for a Hearty Sunday dinner ;) ) They also feature a chef special (posted on a board) and a daily meal special so keep an eye out for that and ask the waiter

🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 I recently had the pleasure of dining at this restaurant, and it was an outstanding experience from start to finish. The food was absolutely delicious—every dish was crafted with care, bold flavors, and beautiful presentation. You can truly taste the passion and skill behind the menu. The staff was amazing as well. Friendly, attentive, and genuinely invested in making sure guests feel welcome, they elevated the entire experience. It’s rare to find a team that blends professionalism with warmth so effortlessly. A special mention goes to the top-tier chef, whose talent shines in every plate. The creativity, precision, and quality were remarkable, making the meal unforgettable. Overall, this restaurant is a must-visit. Delicious food, amazing staff, and a top chef make it a standout dining destination. Highly recommended!

We first popped in in August and had a bowl of borsch and pierogi. Both delicious. We noticed then we were the only people not speaking Polish, so knew it was a good place. We had tickets for a concert on my mum’s birthday in October and knew then that’s where we’d celebrate. We ate there on Thursday night and again, we were the only people not speaking Polish and again the food was delicious! Good portions and really friendly service. I mentioned when I paid it was my mum’s birthday and she said, “oh you should have rung!” She then brought over a small chocolate cake and tub of savoury spread and wrote on the box, “Happy birthday, thanks for supporting our small business”. So thoughtful. Every time we’re in Glasgow (about 30 minutes away), we’ll definitely go. My favourite eatery in Glasgow. Why go anywhere else? Dziękuję

I work close by, and there's not much in the immediate vicinity for when you forget your packed lunch. THANK THE HEAVENS this place opened. It's got a sort of modern boho feel, and you can either sit in and eat or take your food away. The staff are warm and welcoming, and are finding their feet well.

Foodie boasts the usual take-away fare, such as paninis, hot rolls, chips, but what I particularly enjoy is the Polish menu. So far, I've tried the potato and cheese dumplings (pierogi, I think they're called), and the stew with potato pancake (twice now). The apple cake was also outstanding.

If I had one minor complaint, it's that they don't take card payments. But they've not been open long, so it's to be expected. If you don't have cash and the ATM in the neighbouring newsagent is broken, you may be out of luck.

This place is a new business, heavily dependant on the college lunchtime crowd, but I hope they enjoy success for many years to come... not least because they have become my...
