The dogs absolutely love this place because of the River. Cannot keep them out of it. The play area for the kids is huge, with some longer hillside slides and play obstacles unique to the area. The garden areas are very well maintained also, 2 bridges also make for good view points. This park doesn't get 5 stars because of its size, you can walk up and down it fairly quickly, i wouldn't spend more than 1 hour here. Still, that's 1 hour that's keeps the kids occupied away...

The park was spotless when we visited and the play area well looked after. The 3 level slide was particularly impressive. Nice walk around it but the park is on a hillside so some steep paths might not be suitable for all. Would definitely recommend and will be back when we are next...
Read moreI have many fond memories of this place from back in the 1980/90s. I went to see how much it has changed. It's still a lovely place to go for a walk and the kids play park has been expanded with a good range of equipment. Some of the paths up at the top of the slides could maybe do with having nettles trimmed back more often though but I would hope it gets done in the summer when it gets...
