Liked the atmosphere inside. Would have liked to have seen rugby rather than football but the 4 local guys at the bar had preference. Noticed that it's quite a mixed pub, footie fans at bar and crowd of about 8 folk in a ?family group nearer the back wall. The place was clean and well presented. I think it previously served food but no longer. Service was good and the banter was good but the barman could do with putting his teeth in....😁. Prices were OK apart from the can of diet coke which pushed up the round of 2 drinks...
Read moreAs pubs go a lovely wee place. There are just too many tvs for me. But there again I'm not a pub person however the staff certainly made me welcome and was dog friendly. So, what's really not to like. The beers seemed pretty well priced to me, a novice, but I had a shandy anyway. Clean and comfortable as we're the toilets. It's definitely worth a stop if you visit Dunblane. Ps. Asked about the history of the pub and buildings to the locals....
Read moreI was searching Google for a place to grab a local beer and someone had recommended this place as 'The best Pub in Scotland', so with a recommendation that strong I thought i had better give it a go.
The service was a 10/10, the drinks were a 10/10 and the atmosphere was sublime, so good we came back after our dinner for a nightcap or two.
Well worth a visit and if i lived nearby, this would easily...
